Students of Institutions can participate in this program and after issuing the relevant circular issued by the Ministry of Education, Information Technology and Cultural Affairs of Sabaragamuwa Province, applying for the information of Institutions and forwarding applications. Presentation of the Sabaragamuwa Lalitha Kalapati awards
This award will be presented to the artistes selected from one of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Literary Festival.
Awareness program for English Language Certificate Course (SELP) implemented by the Ministry of Education, Information Technology and Cultural Affairs of Sabaragamuwa Province.
Students who have sat for the GCE (A/L) and Passed English Subject of GCE (O/L) will be eligible to apply for this course and The Ministry of Education releases relevant applications and applications after August, each year, thereby informing the students. For registered Art Institute of the Department of Cultural Affairs, The grants are given annually and the amount of grants vary according to the rating of Art Institute
Providing Assistance Money to Art institute
These grants are for artists who are under 55 to 70 years of age and do not receive any other government funding.

Annual school / Dhamma school students and open category under various competition categories and Winners are evaluated
Conducting regional literary festival
A regional literary festival is held annually to distribute prizes and certificates to the winners of the regional literary competition.

- Supervision of activities relating to registration and maintenance of school productivity societies.
- Uplift the social and economic standard of living of a community of the local community under the Knowledge Management Project.
- Establishment of green productivity forums at the divisional, district level.
- Directing all the institutions in the Divisional Secretariat Division for the National Productivity Awards Competition and providing support to them.
